ClickIndia.com - another online classifieds
Clickindia.com is India’s free online community notice board where anyone can post classified offers, ads and public announcements under more than 100 categories ranging from jobs, matrimony, education, travel, electronics, to household items, mobiles, services, etc. Within six months of its Beta launch, the website already has 50,000 active ads, with well over 1,500 unique visitors per day.
It claims itself as your neighborhood classifieds. However when you go to the site there is no city / state based search on the home page. I just entered ‘digital camera’ in the search provided, it took me to another page where I get to further apply filters like state / city on my search. I believe it would have been better to provide such search on the home page for a site that claims itself as your neighborhood online classifieds.
Overall the UI is neatly designed. You could post photo ads as well for free. ClickIndia also features a discussion board.
The following big time players have already got a firm hold in the online classifieds space
ClickIndia.com must certainly do something different to claim it’s place.

Thanks guys, for your supporting reviews. we have now started Clickindia M2i (mobile-to-internet) service that allows you to send your ad & contact details to us via SMS (to 09958649430), and voila! your ad will be posted on www.clickindia.com on a matter of few hours. You can even edit/repost and delete your ad via sms
What’s more.. if you have a camera phone, simply take a photo of your product (e.g. car, house) and send to us with your text ad (to 09958649430). There are no charges to send SMS ads. Normal SMS/MMS charges will apply.
