Clickindia.com is India’s free online community notice board where anyone can post classified offers, ads and public announcements under more than 100 categories ranging from jobs, matrimony, education, travel, electronics, to household items, mobiles, services, etc. Within six months of its Beta launch, the website already has 50,000 active ads, with well over 1,500 unique visitors per day.

It claims itself as your neighborhood classifieds. However when you go to the site there is no city / state based search on the home page. I just entered ‘digital camera’ in the search provided, it took me to another page where I get to further apply filters like state / city on my search. I believe it would have been better to provide such search on the home page for a site that claims itself as your neighborhood online classifieds.

Overall the UI is neatly designed. You could post photo ads as well for free. ClickIndia also features a discussion board.

The following big time players have already got a firm hold in the online classifieds space

ClickIndia.com must certainly do something different to claim it’s place.

RealEstateNewsInIndia.com (link here), is a Digg like site for real estate news in India. It’s a basic Pligg implementation. I recently came across this site while I was browsing related to real estate in India. Seems like a new site, not many users are there. I got some good information about real estate market in India. A good place to get information, if you are watching the real estate industry in India.
