MakeMyTrip.com, an online travel portal, is awaiting an approval from Indian Railway Corporation to sell rail tickets and as well as room bookings for railway budget hotels on its site, reports Business Standard. Currently, railway tickets can be booked online only on Indian Railway sites and nearly 50,000 railway tickets are getting booked online everyday.
