People are returning the iPhone
I was reading various articles about, people returning the iPhone. Yes you heard it right PEOPLE ARE RETURNING THE iPHONE. Top reasons for returning the iPhone
- AT&T EDGE network is slower. Not able to use the cool features in iPhone
- AT&T has less coverage
- WiFi connectivity is flaky. I have even seen that. One of my colleague, who is always drinking the Apple kool-Aid, bought one on the first day. When he got it to the office it didn’t pickup the unprotected Guest WiFi network established in the office
- Too expensive both the device and monthly service plan
- Battery does not last longer
People are returning in the hope of buying it later when there is faster and better coverage from AT&T. AT&T reportedly has plans to have 3G networks by fall, they are already testing it in certain markets.

att already has 3g but seems apple didnt put it there phone and went with older slower cheaper tech so as to rake in more profit, foolish be the 1 who bought it in the first place, might as well had went a free 3g phone from att.

i had my iPhone for a little over 14 days and I was able to return it for a FULL refund at the Apple Store. I was terribly disappointed with the iPhone and I wish that there is a phone (maybe not even Apple) that will do well both as a phone and internet device. A lot of phones already have the whole music thing down and even allow you to purchase music through them, so Apple is far behind the game.
