Many of the internet sites in India are just a copy from the US counterparts. For we have witnessed a lot of clones of Youtube, Myspace and Digg in India. I have to agree that some are gaining momentum though it’s a copy. However I just want you to be careful in what you copy from the US as not all are worth copying.

An example is www.Trezr.com, a digg site for deals is up for sale in e-bay right now (link here). The site owner’s claim that they have 4000 unique visitors per month however seems like it didn’t grow as expected. One of the sites in India, that I know which is the exact same business model are Trezr.com, is Dealmaadi.com (see my initial post here). As I said in my initial post, I didn’t buy into the concept of digg for deals. Anyway I could be proved wrong.
