Bill Gates No more Number 1 and Sunil Mittal Number 10

Bill Gates has to settle for the 2nd place. A Mexican telecommunications tycoon, Carlos Slim Helu, has taken the first place (reports mashable.com). His worth is about $67.8 billion where as Gates is of $59.2 billion. I believe Gates is probably lost the place for giving much of his wealth to charity. What do you guys think?
And in the same article, India’s Sunil Mittal is the 10th richest people in technology with a worth of $9.5 billion. Sunil Mittal is the chairman and managing director of Bharti group which runs largest GSM mobile phone service in India.
Number 1 and Number 10 are from the same industry, that’s telecom. Seems like the telecom industry is exploding right now.
