Stream music and synchronize with flickr using Dekoh

Dekoh is a product from Hyderabad based company Pramati, its goal is to bring the web and the desktop together and to give developers the ability to create applications on top of that platform. Those applications can be shared and deployed anywhere in the network. Read my previous coverage about Dekoh here.  And aslo check out their new banner

After successful public alpha release in April at the Web2.0 Expo in San Francisco, Dekoh Desktop, the platform for Rich Internet Applications, has released their beta version, which is now available for download. With this release Dekoh Music, the personal music streaming application is available for users to install. Dekoh Music allows you to stream music from your desktop to other Dekoh users.

Dekoh is a browser based application and the following is the screenshot of the homepage for your Dekoh Portal.

  • Dekoh Photos - Unlock digital photos from your PC. Organize and share them with others
  • Dekoh Music - Organize, share play lists and stream music
  • Dekoh Books - Connect with your friends and share your book catalog, reading list or wish list.
  • MyFlickr - Two-way synchronization of your desktop collection with your online one at Flickr.com
  • devTool - Create your dummy Applications. Or a place holder for your applications
  • wordPress - The popular blogging software. Blog privately to your own personal network

Following is the screenshot of the applications that I have installed in my Dekoh Portal.

Great info for students aspiring to do higher studies in the US

u-lIf you have ever tried to do higher studies in the US, you would have gone through the process of searching for colleges and universities. And needless to say each one of them have customized application form which you have to fill. However thanks to Usphere, you could just send one application form to all of the 33 schools in the network and if the school is interested, you would get an email from them.
